Merdeka Celebration

Age: 3 years, 1 month, 3 weeks, 4 days old

We had a very meaningful Merdeka celebration this year. Mommy & daddy donated their blood to GH Penang. It was mommy's very first time. So we kinda nervous.

BB: Mommy, i want to donate blood.

Mommy: Oh darling, you're too small. You donate when you grow up. (by the way, the minimum age is?)

After the donation, we went to Tropical Spice Garden. Coz both mommy & daddy are nature lover.

Mommy : BB, come, take photo, look at the camera, stand properly.

She is sun-bathing.

Spice garden is beautifully developed.

Nice tiny waterfall. Wish to for a bigger one. Mommy is looking for one in Penang.

This plant smells awful. :(

Opposite the Spice Garden is this beautiful beach. It was too hot (about 2-3pm) so we decided not to go.

Instead, we went to Toys Museum. The world's largest toy museum. WOW!!! I think its absolutely correct. There are MANY toys in there. BIG and small. MANY.

I know this too. I've watched Ice Age 3 in cinema. My very first cinema experience.

Yes little mermaid. Both mommy & I love this.

BB : Mommy, I want little mermaid.

Mommy : Here it is darling.. this is little mermaid.

BB : Mommy, I want this (while pointing at little mermaid's tail)

Mommy : Oh, you want the tail?

BB : *nodding my head*

Mommy : Why you want it for?

BB : I want little mermaid. (*looking pityfully*)

Mommy : But you can't walk with the tail, you can't dance, can't tip toe, can't hop with the tail. You can only swim with the tail.

BB : I want to swim.

Mommy : ...

BB : (*still waiting for my response*)

Mommy : We are human darling, we have legs, we can't have tail. Mommy can't do anything bout it. Come let's go. *phew*

I don't even know who is this. Just stand there as requested by mommy.

What I Learnt from School

Age: 3 years, 1 month, 3 weeks, 2 days old

Learnt many things from school.

First week in school. Learnt to write 1 & A.

1 month later, write 2 & B.

Then, C.

One day, out of sudden, mommy noticed me writing 5, 6 & 8.

Little gift from school on father's day. Teacher did it.

Little gift for MERDERKA (independence day). Teacher did it too. Not me.

Become A Lady

I can't wait to be a lady.

1. Case #1 (when mommy is changing her sanitary pad)

ME: mommy, i want this.

Mommy: no dear, not now, u'll need this when u grow up.

(i took a panty liner and put in my pants when mommy is talking)

2. Case #2 (saw 小姑's high-heel shoes)

ME: mommy, i want high-heel shoes.

Mommy: u've ur pretty pinkish shoes, 小姑 is 22 years old, she can wear the high heel shoes. u'r only 3 years old, u'll fall down, cannot walk with that.

ME: i want 22 years old.

Mommy: u will when u grow up.

MMPS - World Breastfeeding Week 2009

Age: 3 years, 2 weeks, 3 days old

World Breastfeeding Week is here again, 1 Aug - 7 Aug 2009. Mommy was so busy organizing the event for the past weeks, for Penang MMPS (Mother-to-Mother Peer Support), a breastfeeding support group. She was the co-ordinator for this event.

MMPS had this event last year in Penang and successfully gathered 68 moms in Penang to breastfeed simultaneously for 1-minute at the same time. This year, they had the same program, which is "1-minute Simultaenous Breastfeeding", yet with a different. This year mommy did it for the whole Malaysia. Wow!! 30 over hospitals participated in this program with MMPS. Cool. As a total, how many moms breastfed simultaneously? Read on...

Ta da!!! Mommy successfully gathered 340 moms to breastfeed simultaneously throughout the entire Malaysia.

Game 1: Baby Crawling. Both babies and mommies are enjoying. Mommies are trying hard (whatever methods) to get baby to crawl towards them.

Game 2 : Dancing on the Paper. This game was fun. You gotta see alot of funny movements.

As the event co-ordinator, mommy gave her vote of thanks to everybody at the end of the event.
