Coloring Contest

Age: 4 years, 5 months, 1 day old

Public Bank is just few steps away from Yeh-Yeh's shop. As I was 'working' in Yeh-Yeh's shop last Saturday morning, I saw many kids in Public Bank. Out of curiosity, I went and checked it out with daddy. Oh, Public Bank was organizing a coloring contest. We stood outside, I wanted to participate but.................

"My shoes are so dirty, cannot go in" I told daddy.
"Oh never mind, we go in and ask first", daddy said.

The contest was for age 5 and above only, I wasn't qualified to participate but I can join in just for the fun sake, the person in charge told daddy. I was so happy. We quickly went back home, told mommy this good news and changed my dirty clothes and shoes. And not forgetting my color pencils. =) Mommy thought this is my first time in coloring contest (just for fun), so she insisted to follow me there to take photos.

I was arranged specially by them to sit in the office, instead of outside with all the contestants. I color fish.
"Mommy, you go home la!" I told mommy. Mommy was surprised and thought "oh, my girl has grown up, so independent now, no need me accompany anymore. Shhh me back some more"
There was another girl, her daddy is one of Public Bank's stuff, so she cannot participate in the contest, but just for fun in the office. I took the initiative, went and said "hello" to her, and asked whats her name. But I couldn't remember her name after that. :P Mommy was quite impressed on my initiative. Always be friend with people. =)
Again, I said "Mommy, you can go home now". "OK! OK! Last photo" Mommy had no choice but to leave.
This is the area. Full of kids.
All colored with crayon, not color pencils.
1 hour later, mommy came again, I almost finished, final touched up.
We become good friends straight away. LOL!
My work! I said "I got #1". =P

Then we went upstairs for some refreshment. I sapu 2 curry puffs and 3 banana cakes. Yummy yummy.
Mommy asked "do you want to go home now?" "NO" I replied. We played balloon in the office then.
"First price goes to................Teoh Yin Yue"..... LOL!!! I wish loh! They are all professional little "colorist" (hahaha, got such word or not, very pro in coloring). All must have been taking coloring classes.

My Little Brother is Popping OUT!!!

Age: 4 years, 4 months, 4 weeks old

Hahahhaa, don't panic, not the real one. I play play only one. :P

As mommy was relaxing her legs to help with the blood circulation and water retention, I told mommy "Mommy, I'm the nurse, daddy is the doctor (daddy was actually solving his puzzle then), and baby is coming out OK?" I quickly put a white cloth near mommy's bottom, so that we won't dirty the bed when baby is out. "Mommy, if baby is coming out, you yell HELP NURSE! OK?" Mommy was a very obedient patient I have. Hahahhaa... Oh yeah, throughout the play, I didn't call mommy, I called "Connie Mooi" instead, because she was my patient ma. :P

I put this white cloth here.
Connie Mooi yelled "HELP NURSE, HELP! My baby is coming out!" I quickly put on my GLOVE and ask Connie Mooi to PUSH!!! She had to push twice, and POP, baby is out.
Here me - the nurse, holding the unwashed baby boy and said "I go and wash baby first ah".
Here I'm washing the baby. After that, I brought it back to my patient Connie Mooi and told her it's a baby boy. I let her kiss the baby and put the baby next to her. =p
After giving birth to about 5 to 6 babies (I requested her to), my turn to deliver then. Mommy was the nurse, and daddy was the doctor. We repeated the same thing, call help, push, wash baby, kiss baby and put baby next to me. It was very fun. =D

Puzzle Puzzle Puzzle

Age: 4 years, 4 months, 4 weeks

My whole family is crazy about puzzle now. Mommy and daddy had been busy solving their so-called adult puzzle, and me with my own so-called kids puzzle. I kept asking "Mommy, why kid cannot solve adult puzzle lerh?" =)

When daddy was still scratching head where that puzzle piece should go, I already solved like 30% of mine. And I asked "Daddy, why you so slow one?" :P
Last night, they finally solved their 'very difficult' puzzle.

Buzzy Bee

Age: 4 years, 4 months, 3 weeks, 5 days old

Buzz buzz buzz! We made a buzzy bee yesterday. Mommy learnt it from http://www.crafty-crafted.com.

Paint the toilet paper roll yellow.
Let it dry or use hair dryer to blow it, faster. =)
Mommy cut three black strips, and I paste it onto the toilet paper roll.
One strip, 2 strips, 3 strips...
Paint my finger white and stamp on it as eyes.
The bee needs wings to fly. I drew 2 circles on white paper (yes, it's an old magazine) and mommy cut them out.
Paste the wings at the back.
Time to draw the bee's eyebrows and mouth. Mommy scared I'd spoil the whole thing so she drew them first with pencil then I followed the lines with marker.
Hahahha, I accidentally drew an extra dot near the mouth. It looks like a mole. :p
Paste the straw onto the toilet paper roll. We didn't have pipe cleaner, so we use the straws. :P
Hooray!!! My buzzy bee is done. It can fly very high! =D
See the mole? LOL!
