My Baby

Age: 3 years, 5 months, 3 weeks, 5 days old

I suddenly got attracted by this old toy rabbit that has been in my toy drawer for months. Now she is my baby.

BB: "daddy, shhhhhhhhhhh... quiet, baby is sleeping.'

The first thing I looked for in the morning was my baby (rabbit). I left her in yeh yeh's room last night and yeh yeh's room is locked (yeh yeh wasn't up yet). Then I cried coz I can't see my baby. =(

Mommy quickly promised she would take it right after yeh yeh open the door. Meantime, we have our breakfast first. 10 minutes later, yeh yeh finally opened his room and came downstairs. Out of sudden, I started to cry. Tears all came out. Mommy was shocked and asked why, what happened. And I said "I want my rabbit. :`(" (more tears coming out). Mommy has totally forgotten about this rabbit. Then she ran upstairs to take my baby.

I stopped crying after I saw my baby. And mood changed instantly (started to smile). Then daddy asked:

Daddy : "did you give your rabbit some bread?"

Me: "no, she is still baby."

Daddy : "then what should baby eat?"

Me : "CHAR KUEY TEOW"

Both daddy and mommy went "HUH??? Char kuey teow?" and laughed out loud.

Mommy's Birthday

Age: 3 years, 5 months, 3 weeks, 2 days old

2 days after grandpa's birthday, its mommy's turn. Today is mommy's birthday and I sang my very first birthday song to mommy. Mommy's heart melted.

We celebrated in Kepala Batas Secret Recipe. We love to dine in here. Nice.

Both mommy and daddy loveeeeeeeeeeeeee my new hairstyle. It simply makes me look cuter. =P

As usual, after ordering our food, mommy would be busy taking photos. Here me and aunt.

First came Chicken Cornish.

I can't wait to eat birthday cake. Such a big choco cake on the wall. "AAAAMMMM"..

Mommy's Stewed Aus Beef Steak. Very nice.

Daddy ordered Grilled fish. This is very nice too.

We all are too full, so just order a small slice of cake just for the sake of singing birthday song, blowing candle and wishing. After singing birthday song, I quickly blew the candle, didn't even wait for mommy. Mommy said "aiya..., why didn't you wait for me?"

We had a wonderful birthday celebration. =D

After that, we went home, took shower, changed pyjamas, off the light and prepared to sleep. As a routine, mommy will sing me good night song then say 'I love you bb' and 'good night bb', and I'd say the same back to mommy. Right after that, I said 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!'.. Mommy's heart melted again (she thought everything was over). ^^

爷爷 (grandpa)'s Birthday

Age: 3 years, 5 months, 3 weeks old

It's grandpa's birthday. Mommy decided to celebrate in Nyonya Baba Cuisine restaurant in Penang. Why? Because grandpa liked the Singapore movie - 小娘惹 (Nyonya Baba) a lot. One of the shot in this movie is about a family dinner (2nd photo below), all the Nyonya dishes on the table was cooked and arranged by this restaurant. So, for Nyonya sake, we celebrated grandpa's birthday in Nyonya Baba Cuisine restaurant.

This is the entrace. From the banner above, we can see it is also featured in Lonely Planet travel book. Hmm.. not bad, can't wait to try the food.

This is what brought us there, the Singapore movie.

6 adults, and we ordered 7 dishes. Medium portions. Just nice. Not too much, not too little. Can't really know what we ordered as mommy asked the chef to cook some of the Nyonya dishes that is a MUST TRY.

Birthday boy and little princess.

Group photo inside the restaurant. Quite small, only have 4 tables. Better reserve if you want to go. All in all, hmmm.. food, mommy said so so only, not as special and good as expected. For the 'feel' sake, yes, it has.

Outside of the restaurant (same row), is another restaurant for steamboat, called 'Little Shanghai'. It does have the Shanghai feel. Antique building, old shanghai songs, and lightings, feel good. Mommy said next time must come and try.

Xmas Masks

Age: 3 years, 5 months, 2 weeks, 5 days old

We spent whole afternoon making our own Christmas masks. Mommy printed them from the internet on A4 papers. Then we painted them, both me and mommy. Mommy hold my hand while painting. I was so excited bout this whole thing.... in the beginning only. After finished painting 2 masks, I kinda distracted by other things, left mommy alone painting there.. :P

After that, I got hooked up with my lovely rubber bands. Mommy always wondered why I like rubber bands so much. I've many ways to play with them.

I can't stay with a game for long. After awhile, I switched my attention to football game. Daddy was a very famous footballer in his high school and he taught me the technique.

First Haircut at the Saloon

Age: 3 years, 5 months, 2 weeks, 3 days old

My hair is very long, I sweat easily, mommy is tired of tieing up my hair, so we decided to cut my hair. Mommy seek my permission first before we headed to the saloon (aunty's house) nearby.

Me first time in the saloon ever since I was born. Mommy used to be the one who cut my hair, my personal hairstylist. Here is the before photo. =)

Aunty : Don't move ha, if you move, no more mei mei.

Me : Hm.

I didn't move an inch. No regret.

Half way through. I was sitting still. Aunty said I am a good girl.

Back part is done. Now the front hair. Not too short.

Aunty : Close your eyes.

Almost done.

Tada!!! Done.

This is my new hairstyle. Nice. Daddy, mommy and I love this new hairstyle.
