After Chinese New Year, our house is full of "CNY Cake" (年糕), too many of them, mummy didn't know what to do with them and also bored with the old ordinary way (fry with flour) of cooking it. So, went search online and found few different ways to cook it. Yesterday we tried new way #1, fry with sweet potato + a lil flour. I helped with mixing the sweet potato and the flour (1/3 of it, mummy did 2/3 of it). Both of our hands were dirty, so we didn't take photos. It came out quite nice. Daddy asked for more but we only made 12. The outlook not so nice because we didn't peel off sweet potato's skin as it has nutrients. |

Looks very yummy! I haven't eaten nian-gao in a looooooong time. Chloe has never even tasted it before cos we don't have it at home.
